declared for her bday this year that she wanted a bunny cake. I looked at Hobby Lobby and Michaels to no avail for a bunny cake pan, so i found a design online. This is the result. DD2 wanted to put sprinkles on it -- apparently all the sprinkles we had.

Adorable cake! Alana and I looked at a cupcake book on Sunday - it was hard, but I resisted buying it. Many were way too hard for me to even attempt, but there were some simpler designs too. My favorite was the ponies - hopefully she'll go through a horse phase and we can have those one year! Also very cute - spaghetti and meatballs - the meatballs were made with chunks from strawberry jam! (Not sure we'll ever have a kids party where those will fit into the theme, but they were really fun.)
A few sprinkles are good...but lots of sprinkles are better!! Yeah! Happy Birthday DD2~ enjoy your presents!
