The girls and I went on a mini-vacation. We went to the circus Friday afternoon at Reliant stadium (in the south part of town -- about 30 minutes drive from our house), and then went to the dog show next door to the circus.It was nice. We ate supper Friday night at a Mexican restaurant near the stadium that had a fabulous spinach enchilada with fresh tomatillo sauce, and a portobello mushroom taco. There was a little band playing in the restaurant, and all the kids danced to the music. It was fun.
We stayed at a hotel right by Reliant, and went back to the dog show the next day after the girls swam and I worked out. Got back home around 4 in the afternoon. Then at 6, Debbie and I went to our friend Amy's wedding reception. She got married in the Virgin Islands a couple of weeks ago.
After the reception, we went to see Mamma Mia, where we unashamedly sang along with the movie. I love ABBA.

WOW! What a fabulous couple of days! I'm seeing Mamma Mia this coming Saturday - can't wait.
What a nice idea! We went to the circus down at Reliant on Friday afternoon. It was a great time except for the gentleman next to us who felt the need to scrunch by us 6x to get to his seat! Caleb was entranced though and the grandparents Clausen were glad to go along!
