Spent the morning tidying up and doing stuff around the house. Lunch, errands, picked up DD2, more errands, picked up DD1, went to dentist to get DD1's molars sealed. It was much more successful this time, as a) they let me come back with her, and b) Dr. Satchell, who is very patient and gentle, explained everything to her so she didn't freak out.
Came home, put a king ranch casserole in the oven, and made my pumpkin pie from scratch. It turned out pretty well, at least warm from the oven. I'll have to see how it tastes after having been refrigerated overnight.
Went to Brownies, came home ~8 p.m., just really tired. Went to bed around 9:15. Woke up at 4:15.

So glad the pie turned out. I was dx in January of last year, lump out in Feb and started chemo after that. Don't remember the exact dates cause this is something I'm forgetting..LOL..Hugs..rosebud
What is a kings ranch casserole? Would you share the recipe?
Oh - and PEO is a womens organization that provides support for women's education in the way of grants, scholarships, etc. We also support a small women's college and a home for elderly PEO.
