Fashion
I bought a new purse a few weeks ago. It has fake animal skin on it, and a big silver buckle closure. And when I'm in Texas, I get compliments on it once or twice a week. When I was in NYC, however, at the Hard Rock Store, the guy checking me out looked at it and said, "Wow, that's really...Texan."

I think that may be exactly what I said, too. Sorry. :)
This morning I was in the ocean for my last chance to bounce in the waves before I had to pack up and get to the airport. I was talking with a nice guy I'd met with his wife a couple of days ago. (It's fun talking with someone while you bounce in the waves.) Anyway, when I said I was from Brooklyn, he said, "Oh, have you ever been to Brooklyn Tabernacle?" I was able to say yes because of you. :) He is from a small church in Georgia that went to Brooklyn Tab (as he called it) for a music conference, and they got to sing with the Brooklyn Tab choir. He said it was amazing.
And it all made me think of you. :)
Yup..the Texas fashion is not quite the northern girl look. I have a watch shaped in the state of Texas with rhinestones and not to mention a huge belt buckle. Not something I would wear here..LOL
