So, I decided to have the quiche yesterday night, and leave the pot pie for today. But! When I took the foil off the pie pan, the quiche had miraculously transformed itself into a chocolate pie! Why doesn't this happen more often?! Why can't more things spontaneously turn into chocolate pie?
A question for the ages.....
So, we opted for the chicken pot pie, tho the girls were vociferous in their arguments that chocolate pie could indeed be an acceptable alternative for supper. Pot pie was quickly demolished, tho, as the girls each had seconds.
[Donna brought over the quiche later. She has three kids, and is trying to get ready to go out of state, and has a lot of things going on, so she accidentally picked up the wrong pie tin. And then, she APOLOGIZED for how the chocolate pie looked! Heh. Looked fine to me, on the way to my stomach. Chemo Girl and crew care not for aesthetics. We care for taste, and it tasted mighty fine indeed.]
